Our Maiden Warrior

Here's an action shot of Elsie warming up at sword class. Even though she is ranked as a Recruit, she hopes to soon be promoted to Soldier. Then she can use her buckler as a companion weapon.

Elsie Grace Turns 15!!!!

Can you imagine our baby turning 15!

We travelled down to the coast for Elsie's birthday, and shared a yummy roast with Grandma and Grandpa to celebrate Elsie's birthday.

When I think of who Elsie has become, I just burst with pride. She is confident and self assured. Her passion and determination outweigh even her father's! (If that is possible!) And, of course, she is very beautiful.

To celebrate her birthday week Elsie chose to take a friend to the cinema. They enjoyed 'Stormbreaker' together and spent spare moments catching up on news. With the money she had been given, Elsie bought two 'Alex Rider' books. She would also like to get her sword engraved.

And even in the very short time we've been up here in town, Elsie has managed two sword classes.

So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELSIE!! We're so glad you're part of our family!

What a Moth!

Matilda and Josiah found this down at their Grandparent's house on the coast earlier this weekend. The photo doesn't do justice to the amazing colours on its body.

Flora on Wallaby Scrub

Isn't this a gorgeous flower! It's the first this tree has had, and has taken many weeks to come to it's full bloom.

This is 'Us'

Whilst at the airport we started snapping the family. Here's the tribe. (Minus the photographer :-b )

Starting at the top, our almost 15 year old Elsie.

Next comes Bethany.

Josiah... Jack's his dad's best mate!

Pretty Girl! That's Matilda's nickname. And she is!

It's Lilly's dimples that get me. What an adorable 7 year old.

Emily, commonly known as 'Squeak', is missing Daddy very much.

How much personality can be packed into a 3 year old bundle? Jessy's got 'IT'.

And finally, a very laid back Willem.

Well, that was our trip to the airport last week. Just another excuse for a photo shoot...
