Home Safe

We had our three nights in town up north. After arriving Sunday afternoon, we headed up to our campsite. The kids had a lot of fun putting up the tent for the first time. Can't believe all nine of us slept in a four man tent ... and comfortably! Monday was our rest day, doing a little bit of local shopping, and a lot of R&R back at the tent site. While Elsie joined a sword class that evening, I crammed as many words as I could into my half hour visit with Tammy. But Tuesday was the big one. Very early start with no one wanting to get up at the sound of my phone alarm. Josiah got his twin blocks in place, and Beth had her CBJs repaired. Lilly and Beth then had fillings put in their teeth. After that I couldn't put my credit card back in my wallet until the flames had gone out! We headed back home on Wednesday, arriving around 6pm. We made it to our post office before closing, and were able to pick up our new delivery of reading books. That made us all happy. So today was spent unpacking, washing, cooking, and filling the woodpile again. I've realised just how quiet Wallaby Scrub is. And I like it.
