Flowers and Fruit

The children have been watching the 'orchard' very closely. The cherries have all set, and below is a picture of our peach tree. We're looking forward to December/January when the fruit should be ripe. We just have to keep the birds off.

Matilda took this photo. She was fascinated by the tiny bee inside the flower. I can't quite tell by the photo whether it actually is a bee, a native bee, or just an interesting insect.

I've noticed how alert and attentive all the children have become to their surroundings. Wallaby Scrub is so full of ... fullness!
