Getting Ready for Chickens

On 15th July we will take possession of ten laying chickens. So, we have been getting a home ready for them. With a little bit of reorganising of the garden area, some measuring and digging, and lots of help from the littlies, we're sure to have the pen ready for their arrival.

The chooks are coming from up north. I hope they won't suffer too much with the mountain winter frosts.
